About the Instructor

Sandra Magana was born and raised in Pilsen and is currently a physical therapy student. She is excited to have the opportunity to work with El Paseo to provide her community the tools to live a healthy lifestyle through exercise and proper form.

The first time she was introduced to fitness was as a child when she was put in a dance studio. Dance kept her fit and in shape until she began going to a gym and joined a yoga studio, after going through some injuries. Recently she got accepted into the physical therapy assistant program and in the process has gained a certificate to become a personal trainer.

She is thrilled to teach others ALL that she has learned about her own body as well as the continued knowledge she is gaining through her studies as a physical therapy student.  She believes that interval training (30mins sessions) is a great way to stay in shape in such a short time. The body was made to move, but to move correctly, making form a crucial part of her coaching. She is excited to give people in her community the tools they need to accomplish their health goals in a safe, fun and affordable way!
