El Paseo Community Market

2026 market season June 14 through October 4, (Market hours: 10 am to 2 pm) and the Harvest Fest on Saturday, October 10.

Our market is a small but vibrant community hub featuring local vendors offering ready-made food like tamales, iced coffee, agua frescas, local honey, hand made soaps, books for Spanish readers, and handcrafted goods. Vendors include: Yvolina’s Tamales, Anti-Conquista Coffee, Bee-utiful Honey, Giron Books, and more! Alongside these vendors, the garden’s own offerings — including a sliding‑scale U‑Pick programlimited quail eggs, and garden‑produced honey — create a uniquely local, land‑connected experience.

Running June 14 through October 4, the market takes place every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM in a thriving community garden set along an old rail corridor. The space is alive with pollinators, gardeners, families, and neighbors of all ages. Visitors wander through raised beds, an active apiary, quail coops, nature play areas for kids, a dog run, fitness spaces, and multiple gathering spots with benches and tables. The setting itself — buzzing with life — is part of the draw.

The market was created to highlight the garden’s broader programs, including stewardship initiatives and the U‑Pick program, which invites people to harvest seasonal produce and build a direct relationship with local food systems. Throughout the season, the market will host workshopsgarden tours, and cultural activities in partnership with community organizations, educators, and artists.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their sunscreen and garden gloves to enjoy the market and also participate as volunteers. Whether tending beds, supporting pollinator habitats, or helping with community projects, volunteering becomes a natural extension of spending time in the space — strengthening shared stewardship and deepening community connection.

More than a place to shop, this market is a community‑rooted ecosystem. It nurtures local producers, supports environmental education, and invites neighbors to experience a more sustainable, joyful, and place‑based way of living.
