Lawn Expansion Informational Booth

Join us on Saturday, September 20 from 10:30–11:30 AM at El Paseo Community Garden for a drop‑in Lawn Expansion Informational Booth.

Learn about the latest on the North Lawn Expansion to improve the dog run, nature play area, community stage, fitness zone, and circulation upgrades. Staff will be available to walk neighbors through the updated design, answer questions, and share the construction timeline. We’ll also have the updated documents and plans available for a first look, so you can see exactly what’s coming to the garden.

As part of site preparation, the dog run will be taken down on September 25, and Phase 1 construction begins in October. Stop by to get the latest updates and understand how these changes will support long‑term community use, safety, and programming.

Doggy Fashion Parade

Join us in the garden for an adorable neighborhood fashion parade where our furry friends will take a walk around the block Sunday, September 20th at 12 pm to compete for best dressed and more. Whether your pup is rocking a full costume, a stylish sweater, or a simple bowtie, we can’t wait to see them show off their style!

Help raise funds for Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) through your sliding scale registration and learn about upcoming construction of our “El Pawseo” Dog Run and North Lawn Development.
